What has craft beer done for you?

Haha no I agree. My beer drinking friends bring snacks but this is mostly girls who do not drink but partake in craft snacks

 

empty my bank account every few weeks...

just too old to remember those days of courting the females.

 

She has taught me a lot about myself. Sometimes I like to pound her hard all night long. Other times I like to gently bask in her bouquet, lose myself in her mouthfeel as she teases my palate, and savour her aftertaste long after I've finished her.

Wait... we are talking about beer, right?

Craft beer has made me spend a lot of money!

 

It has cost me a significant amount of money, but trading has also opened me up to some outstanding beer from producers I would have never tried if it weren't for BA.

 

I agree with this. Finding a new favorite beer gives me a sense of excitement I don't think I've felt since my teenage years when I got that feeling from buying a new album. Of course, this was when my beloved R&B music was worth half a fuck.

On a side note, craft beer has made everything else just taste like corn. There can be no going back!

 

Taught me the right way to fuggin drink! Along with meeting some cool people that I am so happy to have met. Craft beer is the tits!

I know it's been posted before, but that's the "correct" answer.

 

Craft beer has introduced me to a world of exciting tastes. I've also met people whom I've become friends with, held tastings with and who introduced me to some of the most amazing beers that I'd never have been able to get on my own. Craft beer also introduced me to BA, which holds no equal to cool people who will go out of their way to suggest excellent brews. And of course, I'm spending way more than I should. But it's damn well worth it when I look in the beer closet and see all the great stuff.

 

Improved my health.

 

Craft beer steered me towards a hobby that I enjoy more, and have stuck with longer, than any other hobby I have attempted.

For people who are saying its ruined their health or finances - maybe re think things a bit.

 

Scars. More cuts than I can count. A few learn it once burns that will probably become scars. A few hangovers. A lot of good times. Bad times too. A few jobs. A column in a magazine with a 25k print run. And some other stuff.

 

What has craft beer done for me? Not a lot apart from pleasing my taste buds.

What have I done for craft beer? So far spent 8 years changing laws hostile to craft beer, conducting beer tastings and beer dinners, advocating for craft beer, and oh yeah - spent way too much money on it.
