With minimal standards I'd bet my left nut that there will never be an injury from a grain dust explosion in a 7 bbl brewpub in Dallas. The relative humidity is too high for the concentrations of dust generated. I'd be more worried about breathing it, but that's pretty easy to deal with.

Anyone going to the "party" tonight? I don't get off until 9 but was gonna swing by, BYOB and shotgun Friday playing. Seems like a good time and cool to show these guys support, details on thier FB page.

I'll be stopping by as well. I'm guessing I will be by around 9-9:30 as well.

No updates, just a badass party with people who will support the shit out of these guys. If you know who is starting this you know to expect something awesome. Asesome beer, food, and a good time. SHITDANG!

Saw a couple pics on FB, looked like a fun time. Be interesting once they open, looking forward to seeing what styles they are going to concentrate on.

The space is completely empty. Like, nothing in it at all. They still have to demo the area where the tanks are going to go. It looks pretty big, probably 7,000-8,000 sq ft or so if I had to venture a guess.

They're still shooting for a December opening. I know they'll be doing some nice food along with their beers. Ali (formerly of Scardello cheese) is supposed to be helping them with a badass charcuterie plate. Aside from that, I'm not sure what they'll have. Unsure of the beers either, because the beer they served for free at the party, was beer that Drew had brewed from his days back at Mattingly in 2009/2010.

    Cheers,
    Chad

I've had the red they plan on serving. It reminded me of Hop Head Red but smoother and more drinkable.
