Copied-and-pasted from my email inquiring about Rumpkin from the Avery Mid-Atlantic beer peddler:

We have a new bourbon barrel aged pumpkin porter called Pump[KY]n. It should be around 16% or so.

Also, Gored is our new, draft only 5.6% pumpkin ale that should hit the market in September.

Try to find this one while your hunting for Rumkin this season. Cheers!

I can only speak for the DC metro area:
Rumpkin: Very limited, around 110 cases and 10 pins will be coming. Some of the better accounts around the area should get it: Westover, Whole Foods P St, WE Fair Lakes and so on. Be sure to call ahead before trekking out!

All I know about Pump[KY]n is that it will also be "limited quantities" reaching DC Metro area.

My guess is that if you get Rumpkin you may get this. I'm not sure if it's even more limited.

Pump(KY)n release @Avery is 21SEP while Pumpkin will be the following Sunday, 28 SEP if that helps everyone else estimate when it will hit distro.

We get Avery here, but none of their GOLDEN foil brews, which I absolutely adore.

Okay I'm very new to the whole craft beer thing, and I have to admit it was a barrel aged beer (KBS) that made me pay attention, but the thought of pumpkin flavored beer makes me wonder.

So they will be available at the brewery on 9/21 and 9/28, also any times, limits, or other details?
    Thanks

If they do a release party like all of their other BA beers, it will be 12 bottle limit, $12 a bottle, and 1pm release. Doors open before then and they sell random other BA beers while you are in line.

This sounds perfect. I'll pick up a bottle or two for sure.

You haven't had a good pumpkin beer yet. There are some good ones out there.

Looking for this in Michigan, though not holding my breath, since I havent't found any of the Demons of Ale here in a few years.

I hope it's not one of Avery's single-bottle, 12 oz., limited-distribution beers. They're good but not worth the money.

That being said, if the beer is at least as good as ST Warlock, then it'll be good.

Did you read the thread? That's exactly what it is, one of their high ABV, 12 oz bottle releases.
