Metro Detroit Short's Event

    If anyone is interested, BoatWorks in St Clair Shores is doing a Short's Pint Night August 11 @ 7 PM. Tap list is: Huma, Soft Parade, Cerveza de Julie, Prolonged Enjoyment, Nicie Spicie, Pandemonium Pale Ale, MMMKay, Spruce Pilsner, Double Bourbon Wizard, Bellaire Brown w/ Hazel nut Coffee Beans through a Randall, and once a keg is blown we will tap Short's Cake. It'd be great if anyone wanted to come out, if you do please ask for me. I will be there walking around. I'm excited about this one, Short's always takes care of me. Thanks, cheers

    This is not a good event. Boatworks is a bad place and Brian is a terrible person.

    (Allright, steebo, more for us!) Spruce on tap!, Brown w/coffee and SSC will also be going down next Monday!

    Yes, excluding double bourbon wizard and shorts cake. I know that's unpopular, but I've got too many people wanting both.

    we're adding Freedom of 78 to the back up beers list. usually we blow between 3-7, so this should be on later in the evening!

    Looks like another excellent lineup. Definitely planning on being there for this one after work Monday. I'm sure Steebo won't mind selling us growler fills of Shortcake off his keg. :slight_smile:

    i will. i bought some creme brulee to test with another stout before i actually go live with it. i am assuming it's going to be awesome, as i love hazelnut.

    Brian, do you know if the hazelnut coffee is real or artificially flavored? I'm allergic to tree nuts, but could have it if it's artificial flavoring.

    I usually do flights, but not tomorrow. People have no clue how hard flights are to execute. They slow everything down. I've never thought of 1/2 pours. We always do samples though
