Going to be staying at the Hilton that is a couple blocks away from CCB, so I'm sure I'll be up at the brewery the whole trip, but looking to also stock up on some bottles to bring back home with me. Looking to get my hands on some stuff that we dont have access to in the northwestern part of the state (Bruery, Crooked Stave, CCB and Swamphead one-off's, etc.) Any recommendations on what bottle shops I should hit up when in the area? Any beer events happening in the area during that time frame? Thanks, guys!
There is a Total Wine and Whole Foods with decent selections within walking distance of CCB there is also an ABC store on Kennedy. Leukens in Dunedin probably has the biggest selection if you don't mind the extra drive.

Dang. That sounds awesome. I dont know if I can make it down there in time unfortunately. We leave Pensacola around 0800 CST, so may not be in the area until around 1500-1600 or so. Right on. I dont mind the drive at all, so I may hit up the Dunedin location. I'll hit up the TW and WF for sure because they are going to be so close to us. Do you know what the ETA is for the Good Gourd? It should be right around the corner, but I think we may be a bit too early.
You might be able to catch some Zhukov bottles floating around somewhere but I think your trip will be too soon for Good Gourd.

Don't have a link, but you may also want to get over to Rapp on Saturday. You should go there anyway since their beer is excellent, but Saturday they are releasing a BA RIS in bottles. Look them up on Facebook for details.
Good Gourd bottles went on sale in the tasting room on July 24th last year. So, it could literally be any time.
Hey OP, I'm staying at the Intercontinental just a couple miles away from CCB and plan on hitting up the tap room Friday night if you want to hoist a few.
Good Gourd is looking more like September from what I've heard, they still need to pump out the second batch of Zhukov

Hey, so it looks like they open at 2 and the bottle release starts at 5? So you can get there early, chill on a couple of brewskis and wait for the madness to begin? Any idea on how much they have?
Yes, you can arrive early and chill, and lets hope there is no madness. This brewery isn't quite as hyped currently as say CCB so the last release was pretty smooth, no idea on number of bottles but for the BA Robust porter they did I believe it was around 250, no limit and they didn't sell out until well into the next day. Their Gose is pretty great and the chocolate peanut butter stout and hazelnut porter are a few of my favorites.
