Jesus... Just finished reading the last 20 pages I missed.. Holy shit..

Thoughts from my trip:

Hong Kong Sucks for beer...

London is killing it.. absolutely making amazing beers. specially Kernel..

 

I really enjoyed that beer. I couldn't drink it all the time but it's a nice one to have here and there

 

Crap--I should know by now that a day isn't going to by with no posts and that if it looks like it did it means I lost alerts again.
I met up with @MMBrew yesterday at Forest and Main and enjoyed a couple of beers and a beautiful afternoon on the porch. Unfortunately that maent I couldn't make it down to Tired Hands to say hi to @CTJman . I hope both of you enjoyed checking out a couple of my local favorites.

 

Shanghai has better beer believe it or not

 

That's what I heard. All the HK beers kind of suck and all the imported IPAs had that old sweet hop taste to them.

 

But you had some Tsing Tao at least, right?

 

I tried to trade a case of fresh Tsing Tao for some Mango-ritas but got no bites..

 

Clearly the people of Hong Kong don't understand value when they see it

Plus shanghai has Belgium bars w vintage loons for $20 . If you ever go there I made friends w the brewer at Boxing Cat. They are prob the best brewery in china

 

Any MO or Midwest people want to setup a quick swap of BA Abraxas and Fuzzy for Assassin and NG Peach? Would love to try both for the tasting this coming weekend, totally willing to make up $4$ or what have you.

Well that would be my first time doing that type of thing but it certainly isn't a problem if you have too much going on. If interested just BM me and we can talk and I can make sure I make it worth your while!

 

I really like it. It might have been a touch too hot and I would rather have had 8oz but all in all a really nice beer.

Not the typical picture that gets all the ooohs and ahhhs here, but I'm pretty happy with my days work.
4 hours, 200 miles and bought beer in 4 states.
The Kona and the Maui are obviously for next weekend's party to celebrate of the anniversary of Hawaii becoming a state.
Other stuff I found is for me and a few things not pictured are possibilities for BiaBII.
