You do realize New Mexico is quite a large state. Northern NM is larger than your home state....

Kokoman's in Pojoaque gets almost every good beer that the state gets, so that's a good bet. In Los Alamos, my understanding is one of the Smith's does growler fills (this happens nowhere else in the state). Santa Fe has Susan's.

These are all in Northern New Mexico. I agree with @aschwab that you've got to me A LOT more specific.

Keep driving until you hit Colorado.

The Wallgreen's in Las Vegas, New Mexico had a fairly impressive selection for a town of 10,000 people. It was a serate beer and liquor store on 7th and Mills (?)

I'm right by Taos, closer to Espanola. Sorry I wasn't specific. Do you think it would be easiest just to drive down to Santa Fe and stock up there?

    no i wasn't aware

If you want the better selection, Santa Fe may be your best choice...but a bit of a drive. NM is not know for their spectacular selection.

You may use that as a reference on where to find good beer - if they carry La Cumbre, they may carry more stuff.

Okay thanks, I hear La Cumbre is the beer to get out here. I know all the places in Taos and they don't have much... I might have to drive to Santa Fe. Thanks again for the suggestion

The closest place to Taos that WILL have a good selection is Kokoman, but lookout as it can be a bit of a museum. Many of the places in Santa Fe will have fresh La Cumbre and you can find it on tap at many of the local bars and restaurants.

Qb's in Pojoque has $5 64oz growler fills. I once got a stone collab suede porter growler for $7 with the growler. Qb's or Kokoman is your best bet near you. But Susan's in Santa Fe is the best in the North maybe the whole state.
