    What places did you check?
Spirit Haus have any left? That's been my go-to place for it.

I got 2 4 packs at River Valley Coop, which has a pretty good selection of cold beer. No warm stock. And I scored a 4 pack at Cooper's Corner in Florence, which is a great little shop. Lots of good breweries both cold and warm. Some hard to find stuff and lots of MA breweries.
I live in Northampton, so I don't make it to Spirit Haus much. Good spot when I have been there.

It was gone in both spots yesterday when I went looking.

Local shop in Franklin has several four packs left. They also have the Sierra Beer Camp DIPA which is sold out everywhere else. Union Street Liquors, small shop, only recently expanded craft offerings. Want to see them succeed with it.

There were two four packs left at State St Liquors in Northampton earlier this evening (after I picked one up). Cashier commented she was surprised they had any left.

Saw two or three 4-packs at a store in the center of West Bridgewater Wednesday. Gentleman at the store said it was all that was left from five cases that came in the day before.

My dad gave me a can today. it is one of the greatest gifts a dad can give his son.

I am drinking it right now (I had it once before). I think it is tied for my fourth favorite American IPA (not counting doubles/imperials). Beer hates Astronauts and my favorite, then Congress St and Fuzzy Baby Ducks, and then Julius and Be Hoppy tied for fourth/fifth. However, all 5 are absolutely incredible brews and three of them are from Massachusetts.

Massachusetts is kicking ass right now. I have only had a few Trillium and a few Tree house brews, but their beers are really good. If only Wormtown could increase production or if Trillium and/or Tree house could start doing 4/6 packs...

Wormtown is suppose to kick up production once new brewhouse opens in the fall. If you like Be Hoppy that much. Hopulence is a step up. Plus i hear it will be canned. Very similar to Surly Abrasive. IMO it 1A with BH.

Also I heard Julius cans by winter and I thought Trillium was rumored to be canning soon

Checked out both places tonight (coopers corner and river valley). What nice little hidden gems. Coopers corner had an amazing selection. A place like table and vine has maybe 4 types of Evil Twin (to use as an example) where Coopers Corner had about 8 or 10 different beers.

I didn't walk out empty handed.

    Thanks for mentioning those places.

Awesome! Coopers is my down low go to spot. Nice cold selection and they have lots or random hard to find stuff. Glad you had a good experience. It keeps them excited to provide for their customers like us!

I am still amazed that this beer does not carry more trade "street cred". Ranked outstanding/world class per this site. IMO a top 5 IPA in New England.

What are you talking about, they keep it behind the counter at most places because of current demand. I'd hate to see what would happen if it got this "street cred" you are talking about. I've had an easier time getting Heady Topper than Be Hoppy cans in the past 6 months or so. Its a great beer but not good enough to justify driving around and asking behind the counter hoping to get a 4 pack.

Be Hoppy has "Lunch Syndrome" to me (Lunchhausen Syndrome?).

BH is fantastic and worth a purchase every time you see it, but it's becoming more and more increasingly difficult to get ahold of. On the other hand Hopulence, which IMO - is better, will come in and sit for a day or two at most places. I rarely ever have a hard time getting my hands on it. This is exactly like Lunch - stuff is gone before the store opens the box it was shipped in, yet Another One, which IMO - is better, will come in and sit for a day or two.

Oh well - guess my palate works in my favor in these two cases!

I love Hopulence too, but hard to beat $12 for four 16-oz cans vs. $7-8 for one 22 ounce bomber... twice the price!

Do you guys taste a big difference between draft and canned BH?

Had some fresh cans and they tasted amazing, had it on draft the week before and it was just OK.

Maybe the last batch they canned was just that much better.

Good point - guess I was excluding $$$ from the equation (sub-conciously maybe?!??!)

Canned definitely tastes better. I thought Be Hoppy was really good the times I had it on draft but I wasn't blown away by it until I had the cans. Maybe they are fresher? Not sure. Anyhow, I completely agree with the Lunch syndrome theory. I also prefer Hopulence and would love to see it canned.

Now Hopulence in cans around the same price? I'm all over that.

I know I've lived in Boston too long when I consider $11-13 for a four pack of pints a really good deal. I was out in Missouri recently and picked up Bell's Two-Hearted Ale for $7 for a four pack of 16 ounce cans, now that's a bargain.
