I once heard a guy pronounce Green Flash's palate wrecker: "pilates wrecker"

The Bruery's Fruet is pronounced Fruit... not Froo-aye or Froo-et.

I don't claim to be a French expert, so you may be right. However, I learned my pronunciation from a rep from Unibroue, so I'm taking his word for it.

I was having a discussion with a dude and pronounced CC Jai Alai exactly like it's spelled. It was a crowded, noisy beer share. He was then talking about some high alai, and I had no idea we were talking about the same beer haha. Not a huge deal as the beer is mediocre

Huh?! I hope the 'wink' is meant to tell me that you're kidding about that last sentence.

I keep calling it Sha Fly and I really don't care.

Now my wife pronounces Weihenstephaner "Gwen Stephani" beer. I think that is hilarious.

    This is too funny!
    OK where to start:
My wife loves to say Buttwiper but that's intentional (hates Bud).
For the life of me I can't enunciate the "S" at the end of Dos Equiy.
And don't even get me started on Jingaling.

Once had a young female African American cashier become indisputably offended when I plunked down a 12 pack of Negros!(Negra Modelo of course). My wife and I (who are also of color) still chuckle at that from time to time.

Jai Alai is so malty, so mediocre. Even less than a week old, that beer is not very impressive. So malty is very subjective, but I prefer a very light backbone on my hoppy beers. That's a pretty sweet beer, too much so for me.

Because of the sometimes complicated nature of brewery and beer names, I've resigned myself to holding up a menu, pointing at what I want and saying both the name of the brewery and beer I want.
