Use USPS padded mailers, and your troubles will all but disappear.

I too encountered this issue with the padded packs. I now order them through my employer or go to the local Pack and Ship with a pretty please request. USPS like m4ttjOnes says works just fine.

Same thing happened for me....but I originally ordered 100 and it got cut to 25.

My thoughts exactly. I'm a novice trader with only a few 'shipped trades' under my belt and all have been through a different site. So please, BAers, impart your wisdom. You're telling me if I sign up for a FedEx account online I can request certain shipping supplies for free? Anything else besides the padded envelopes (like boxes)? All this time I've just been taking whatever used packing materials I could find from my office. so much to learn.

    Any other tips?

Yes, sign up for FedEx or UPS and you can order padded envelopes and some boxes, BUT if you are loading up on supplies but ship very little through them they will catch on and stop sending you stuff.

I've had this happen a few times but they never call, I just order 25 every few months now. The padded paks make great bottle wrappers, no more rolls of bubble wrap!

Unless, like me, you go in trading spurts. Sometimes you have too much lying around. Other times, "where the hell did all my bubble wrap go/"

Also, can someone explain exactly HOW they get these free shipping materials and exactly WHAT free shipping materials they are getting? I mean, it's not like spending $8 on 30 yards of bubble wrap every 5 trades or whatever is breaking my bank account, nor the $3-5 i spend on "super boxes" when I do bigger/rarer trades, but free is free and that means more money for beer.

When I look at ordering these online it states a limit of 3. They don't mind when you order 25?

If your having trouble getting Fedex padded packs ask a courier on the road he would be happy to give you some. If he doesn't have any on his truck ask him to grab some from the station and bring them by your house next time.
