Posted one of these in the "Who's brewing this weekend" thread, but am getting close to completion of the interior, too, and wanted to post a couple pics there as well. Basically my buddy and I brew on the patio in front of the garage, store the equipment in the front half of the garage, and drink in the back. He went to some pretty extreme Wes Anderson-type levels of detail to get this as close to the type of Franconian beer taverns we used to drink in while going to grad school in Germany. 1 BBL of Koelsch currently fermenting away in the conical, and when that clears out we'll be doing a Bamberg Rauchbier. Prost!
Amazing! I could spend many an afternoon in a place like that. So..what kind of flight paddles are you serving on?
In the meantime, I hand-painted a mural on the wall, pointing the way to the serving station. First pic is my interpretation, second is from the Schlenkerla taproom in Bamberg, Germany. Prost!
