Goose Island Clybourn tour

Hopefully Ill see you there man. Finally (hopefully) a free weekend to go do some stuff!

 

I can't speak of what it is NOW, but i can speak of what it used to be.

Way way back before I went to law school, it was a nice tour (20ish minutes) followed by a tasting room where you got a free Goose Pint glass and 4-6 samples of their beer. Was usually mostly seasonal beers, plus one nice thing on tap (never BCS, but one time I'm almost 100% certain we had the IIPA). I think it was $5 back then, but it might've been $10.

Last time I went was before in bev bought them out. Same deal (brief tour and explanation of brewing process followed by samples), but pint glasses had been replaced by taster glasses.

Let us know what the tour/pour is now. Sorry I can't be of any more help than that.

EDIT: Agree with an above user. The tour was pretty sterile. We usually went for the "free" beer and cool glass.

Do in bev did not buy out the goose island brand? I never said they bought out the pub or that it affected the pub tours. I merely stated a timeframe for the last time I was there. But A for effort in implying things I did not say
