BC Gov't stores just received a large shipment (1050 bottles each) of Sofie and Matilda. $7.95 for 765 ml.

    :grimacing: !!

and i thought cost of living was supposed to be so much higher on the Left Coast  ! That's really incredible; I remember $9 o-rings of old milwaukee at the liquor stores back in my Vancouver days.

Wow!! 11.29$ at my store in Alberta, I wonder why BC got them so much cheaper.

Do we really think bcbs will come here soon? The states don't all see it do they? Personally I really hope bcbs comes here asap but I just don't want to get to excited.

The LCBO has been carrying Sofie and Matilda for a least a year now, but never have I seen the elusive BCBS in the wild (read: it didn't ever hit shelves here).

When I talked to some of the Goose Island folks at the migration events in Washington in 2013, they suggested to me that they were going to be brewing quite a bit more BCBS, but I guess we'll see?

Yeah our system can be great at times and also frustrating at others. Overall it is hard to be unhappy at our recent distribution.

Oh, I know the LDB; I have to work with them everyday. The LCBO is quite similar; what they bring in is solid and you can never complain about pricing. Distribution & quantity is another matter, but pricing is always good.

2 Dollars cheaper then Ontario. Surprising.

But I thought the LCBO, while bad, did get a cheaper price for their users! FYI: MLLC is no better either.

Are they sending all the other regular but lame beers such as honkers pale and the wheat ? That stuff was selling for $5 a six in Maui because no one wanted it and the warehouse on the island was awash in it.

It's a cap closure, but yes, the packaging is very winey.
