    My body (and dog) can't tell the difference between weekdays and weekends unfortunately. Well that and I had a good buzz and fell asleep around 11 :stuck_out_tongue:

    Awesome event, first time for me as I am from East Coast but a big Stone fanboy.

    Highlights :

    * incredibly well run and professional event, exceeded my expectations.
    * meeting Greg again, so friendly
    * hung out with awesome BA I met on here through trading 3 years ago.
    * 3 glasses of compunction
    * Grapefruit Sculpin
    * Chris Banker Xocoveza Mocha Stout
    * Enjoy By was awesome

    Other observations:
    * Stone 18th anniversary was worst beer we had
    * Beachwood Hop Ninja was OK at best

    My only complaint.....someone invited the sun and told it to hang out all day. Stupid sun.

    LA breakfast was delicious, DDG good as always. Found out they had tracks 5,7,8 as well so definitely had to grab a 7 and of course a cheer.

    Event was run a bit smoother this year I would say as well. The separation of the checkin booths was a pleasant surprise since it wasn't one long ass line like previous years. That rooftop lounge for the all-access pass people was nice but I think having a bit more shade and more than 2 taps would have helped that a lot more. Tacos...well c'mon....tacos! The fuzzy angel from LA, I was waiting for some sort of bite, the problem is it never came...that beer went down like candy.

    Oh, and the giant water tanks this year that were actually cold water....oh man....a savior at times for just walking between lower and upper festival areas.

    Had 4 pours of Mission Impechable. Made me happy.

    Had a great time again this year. Not as good as last year when I had an all access pass and a beer on draft but it was still fun. Had a bunch of great beers. I don't know why people complained about the regular beer list. I even got a pour of Compunction after Pliny ran out.

    Yeah... it's different, but I'm not a huge fan at all. Thought the 18th Anniversary w/Citra they were pouring at the event was an improvement, though.

    Awesome event. I think one of the best or maybe even the best I've been too. DDG in the morning was delicious, food at LA was a great start. Then, no issues with getting inside the festival. The intermission (2pm-3pm) was an awesome time and a short break from all the tacos and beer :slight_smile: Oh and yeah, those tacos were really really tasty. The rooftop lounge as someone mentioned before was great but you had to fight with the sun all the time.
    Beer highlights:
    - Stone Call it what you want, 11.5% Hefe. Surprisingly delicious and smooth
    - Stone Tiger Cub. Really really sour saison. Very tasty.
    - Fuzzy Angel Share. Got two rounds of that. Super smooth.
    - Shuttle Bunny. Don't have to explain. Love Kern
    - Stone 18th Anniv with blond coffee beans. That was actually quite good compared to the regular :wink:
    - Hoparazzi Mission Impechable. Peach juice. Shouldn't count as beer.
    - Hunahpu's. Yeah, why not.
    - Goldie from Smog. Nice sweet belgian.

    Worst beer I wasted my ticket on award:
    Stone 14th anniv Emperial IPA aged in red wine barrel. I know what two expect from a 4 year old IPA, but still, what is the purpose of still keeping this beer? I don't know.

    Worth noting:
    - good vegetarian options in the rare beer section
    - good options for designated drivers: cold water and a lot of sodas to choose from

    Overall I was extremely happy with what I had to drink and eat. I can't wait for next year already! Cheers Stone Brewing!

    I loved the 18th event. It seemed like it was a bit less crowded than last year and it was very organized as usual.
    I had too many excellent beers to count ... I probably went through a good 25-30 tasters with the extra tabs we had from the women in our group. Bring on the 19th.

    Hope you guys enjoyed the sodas we made. I made 10 gallons of Pina Colada soda for the event and I walked out with empty kegs.

    Highlights for me:
    - As others have said, extremely well organized and all staff were very helpful!
    - Beer tent waits were mostly reasonable, especially the rare beer tents.
    - Food and music in RB were on point.
    - Peach sour duo: Bear Republic Tartare Peche & Hoparazzi Mission Impechable.

    Low points:
    - Avery pulled a timed tapping on Lilikoi. Maybe it is just me, but I despise timed tappings because I get to wait in line to find out that I can't get what was listed and I'll need to come back later to wait in line again. Only timed tapping I noticed though.
    -I missed 4 Hands. I meant to go back to it, but got lost in food and other delicious beer. Whoops!

    A seriously great event!

    Echoing everyone else, great time -- well organized, and despite being extremely hot, there was plenty of water and shade to go around.

    Also, tagging onto @grze, was extremely bummed by the 14th Anniv. Emperial IPA in Red Wine Barrels. Just not a great brew at all... no reason to have that one hanging around any more.

    You just don't appreciate good vintage Pledge when you taste it.
