Just wondering everyone's thoughts. I like them all except 4 and 8

These have been hit and miss for me, but I guess that is pretty normal for any brewery. I remember the first release of Frah Gee Lay being great, but the latest version, not so much. Cherries of Fire and any of the Bourbon Barrel Hellfighter variants have been my favorites.

    Well this is appropriate...

Bit hazy as to exact order but I'll give it a shot. I'd say 6, 5, 4, 2, 1, 10, 3, 7, 9, 11, 8. This is all based on the tasting this weekend. If I was going off of trying each fresh (didn't have 1,2,3 fresh) it would be quite different. I really think 4 has improved over time. Also just FYI I had no issues of infection in the bottle of 8 that we had but its definitely my least favorite out of the series.

Also the blend at the end of the last ounce or two of each bottles was actually pretty damn good. Even saved a bit for the next day (champagne stopper sealed 12 ounce bottle filled to brim) to confirm that I wasn't just drunk and it was tasty although flat.

I'll also say that the 006 has a lot of bottle variation. The one form this weekend was really really good but I had one about a month ago that was sub par. Cherries were popping in this one.

The CoF I had a few weeks ago was fantastic. I'd love for them to make it again. How was 8 now? Hearing a lot about infection.

8 is just bad. Drain pour within 2 months. I like them all about the same except 8. What I mean by that is for what they are, they are far above average. I am partial to the BBA Hellfighter but would not turn down any of them.

Agreeing with Cherries Of Fire. I liked 9 and 10 about as much as I enjoy being stabbed to death with a banana

Apparently I have poor reading skills. I just skimmed right over that. Thanks.

My favorites have been Cherries of Fire and 001 Boadacious when it was fresh-ish.

I opened a 6 last night and it was awesome. Was the first actual Karbach beer I was impressed with. Great vanilla, cherry boozy flavors. Everything was great but it was a little too carbonated for me.

Haven't had 011. From my recollections, 006 was tops, followed by 005, 007, 003, original Bodacious. Didn't get second Bodacious. 008 was crap. Others were so-so.

I also had an issue with 008 going bad. I have 1 still and I am definitely not looking forward to it after drinking one a few months ago and reading numerous other posts reporting infection.
    Same here.

Cherries of fire, 03 hellfighter and clown lounge are my tops. Not crazy about 04 or 08 though....

I think I have about 3 bottles left? I had one 3 months back and it was drinking really well then... also, I had a 004 in July, and it is superb right now.... the tartness and dryness of the beer has come in perfectly. Was mildly disappointed when i had it fresh and questioned my decision to buy 6 bottles... now quite glad I did.

top 3 are definitely: 006, 003, and 004 (in that order). 007 was also quite good. To be fair: I have not tried my bottle of 011 yet... but I only bothered to pick up 1.... :astonished:
