I didn't have Wet last year, but I remember really liking it in 2012. My favorites from last year were THB Fresh Hop 100 and Indeed Mosaic.

There is simply too much top-tier beer on the shelves, in taprooms, & in bars for me to get concerned about one beer not being brewed. It'll just be replaced in my mouth by Day Tripper, something hoppy from Town Hall, or one of a dozen other excellent brews. No big deal.

This is why Darkness is BA this year.

As long as they don't fuck with Abrasive, I could care less what Surly is doing.

Two years ago wet was excellent, 2013 version sucked IMO.

WET was awesome last year as well. Tired of this "no Citra, no care" nonsense.

I liked it as well, it was fine, but as a $17.00 four pack of extreme wet hoppy IPA it was a complete failure.

Hey, the next next Summit Unchained beer is going to be a partially wet hopped IPA. I think partially wet hopped beers generally work better than full on wet hopped IPAs. Best of both worlds.

    That's the equivalent of a $5.85 bomber.

Might want to rethink your idea of a 'complete failure.'

It's not a expensive 'complete failure'

I wonder if Summit would ever brew a fresh hop version of Saga...

I tweeted this suggestion at Summit once, but got no response. I'm not confident I know how to twitter though...

They are more expensive but they must turn a huge profit on Wet. They charge the same for that as they do for Abrasive and a lot more then most breweries charge for their wet hopped beers so I doubt the decision could have had much to do with lack of profit.
