For me walking from Tasty to Tyler's etc. would take to much time from drinking / buying beer.

Ha, no you're right Tasty to Tyler's would be a pretty good haul. But Tasty to downtown (Busy Bee, Raleigh Times, Saucer) or Trophy is most definitely doable.

What should I keep my eye out for in bottle shops? Should Hop Drop n Roll be obtainable or other NoDa stuff be available.

Sadly, you won't find any Hop Drop in Raleigh or Durham right now. Noda has tightened their limits to the point where it's not financially worth it for the shops to go out to Charlotte and bring it back anymore.

The Wicked Weed bottles still available by then will probably be Serenity, Bretticent, and Genesis. But they could very well come drop something different off this week. I'd try to score all 3, but definitely at least Genesis.

What else good is around right now yall?

Looks like Tasty will be having a pretty good taplist this Friday though for their anniversary OP. Only thing is that probably means no Wicked Weed on tap. I'd hit up Ridgewood earlier in the day and see if you can catch Freak of Nature on draft, then head over there for bottles and this:

    Against The Grain London Balling
Avec Les Bons Voeux de la Brasserie Dupont
Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout
    Olde Hickory Event Horizon
    Omnipollo / Prarie Potlatch
    The Bruery Oude Tart

More fun! We’ll be digging into our stash of Rochefort 10 offering vintage bottles for on premise consumption while supplies last.

We’ll also be holding a raffle for your chance to buy some bottled beers we’ve been holding onto. Tickets will be distributed between 4PM and 6PM, when we begin the raffle.

Tasty had it as of Sunday. Doubt it's all sold. No doubt at least total wine also has cases of that one.

Allen & Sons is straight up legit. One of the very few places in NC still doing it the old way, all wood. The Pit in Raleigh is a decent substitute, and has a decent beer list, but real BBQ is hard to find in cities (mainly because of zoning restrictions about using wood).
