Noble's, Tongue Tickles?

Picked up 4 bottles on Thursday at my local WF and its just as great as it was when it was initially released last Winter. The Citra, Simcoe and Galaxy work beautifully together. Probabaly my favorite DIPA from Noble. Just wish they would put it in semi-regular rotation.

Sorry to whomever tried hiding that last bottle of this in the back of the rack at the WF in Pasadena. I found it and bought it.

Bottles were gone gone gone at the tasting room yesterday but was still on tap. Blew Chinook Showers away in a side-by-side tasting.

 

Well... yeah. Tongue tickles is the tits.

I take Mohawk Bend awards very seriously. This ain't no little league participation trophy we talkin' bout it winning.

 

Yup, bottles all gone at Noble yesterday/last night. Had 3 pours and left out feeling good. Have 2 bottles left in fridge. Good enough.
Hey Bud, yes just like last years initial release in Nov. Had a taste of Chinook Showers while there. Bought a bottle to try at home. I think it's worthy of half a bottle. When's Mosaic going to make an appearance?

 

Still saw a few on the shelves as of this afternoon

 

Shared one with a beer geek friend last night, we both liked it but weren't blown away as we were from PoorMans at PP Carlsbad earlier in the day.

 

Must have had more in the back. When I cruised on by the three bottle area for noble in the fridge area had a slew of the other two, but in TT's spot was just an empty row with one bottle tucked behind the back of the nearest non-noble beer.

May go back for another as this batch really tops the last.

 

It's fantastic. Much better than the first batch imo

 

Not sure if it's worthy of a new thread but does anyone have any ideas about what Noble's releasing on Thursday? They put a picture of a bottle with wax on Instagram yesterday evening.

Not sure what it is, but I'm such a sucker for Noble that I will be there on Thursday as it seems this is some kind of a barrel-aged brew ... I can't recall, but would assume this is Noble's first BA offering.

 

If it's waxed, we are going to get taxed.

Also, I believe it won't be on draft so I will be waiting for the first reports before I plop down $18+.

 

If that happened...oh man....oh man.....the brain confusion is high enough as it is when I stare at gold and taste stout, this may send the brain into overload.
