I know they didn't bottle last year and it would appear, looking at their release calendar, that they're not releasing bottles (or brewing?) this year either.

What gives? For years this was a winter standby for me, was still rather drinkable even with a few months on it, and, looking at the rating on here, scored rather highly with this site in general. Honestly, one of my favorites, and I'm kinda thinking out loud here, was just wondering if I was the only one who missed this malty, hoppy ale?

I'm still wondering what happened to Moonglow.

Their website currently lists it as a Fall seasonal, so keep an eye out for it I suppose.

Last year it was tap only, I saw it at a couple of bars, I'm hoping it will be in bottles again though.

It's limited draft only....like the saints.

I loved YG The first two years and then either my tastes change (likely) or the beer got considerably more resinous.

I love Winter Cheers so I'm not complaining

What a downer. This is one of my favorite American black ales.

I saw they had draft last year (probably the brewery and a few local places) but I didn't even see that they were doing draft this year, although I could be wrong about that.

I don't think you're wrong either. They may have tweaked the recipe when the name changed from "Twilight" to "Glory." Either way, I wish this was still bottled. Nice taste, and a nice buzz.

If they tweaked the recipe, it's coincidence only. The name change was for legal reasons.

I wasn't knocking you for starting the thread, I was just pointing you other recent discussion about it.

And to answer your original question - yes, I also miss this beer. I prefer my hoppy beers to have some nice balancing malt flavor.

It was one of my favorite Victory beers, so yes, I miss it.

I have never had the pleasure of trying this beer but have only heard good things. I checked their website and found nothing then I went to the fb page and asked. They deleted my post. Oh well

According to the Website it's only on Draft and occasionally Available. I remember reading an article on one of their blog posts about not bottling this beer anymore. So I'm guessing we have to search tap lists or make a trip to both their brewpubs.

I think since they still list it on the website that it's not totally retired.

Looks like they keep their brewpub tap list up to date, but it's not currently listed. Since it used to be a fall/winter seasonal, I wouldn't expect it now anyway http://www.victorybeer.com/brewpubs/downingtown/

When it hits, I'm getting a growler. I'm not usually a fan of "Dark IPAs", yet this brew got me liking hoppy, balanced beers.

I'm surprised to hear so many mentions of "balance", but to me this beer was pretty brash, and as the bottle said, brassy in flavor

If you're referring to my comment - I just meant that it actually has some flavorful malt to accompany the hop flavors, I prefer that to west coast style IPAs that are all base malt. It's still hop forward.
