I'm moving to the Madison area beginning of August. I'm going to bring some east coast kegs, knowing that I won't get them for a little while. If I find anyone to share them I can probably bring more variety. Anyone interested in Yards Love Stout (a philadelphia chocolate oyster stout and #2 on my list right behind FBS so i'll drink it year round), Dogfish 60/90, Yeungling, suggestions? Probably will split several ways.... 1/4 kegs 2-3 ways or 1/2 kegs 3-5 ways...depending on interest.... into your corny...
Why not just bring bottles lol? We love to drink in Madison, but bringing a keg to a tasting is overkill!!
Things like love stout aren't available in bottles. That's really all I'll bring is draft only kegs of my favorites but I figure some people might be interested in regularly available east coast types, but cheaper and more easily handled/transported if they do kegs. I keep 1/2 homebrew and 1/2 commercial in my system. Less volume = more space for variety. The transportation cost of a case for a trader will cost more than the actual cost of the beer if shared via keg ( or partial keg).
