Oh, yeah sorry about that; I got Troegs and Wyerbacher mixed up. I actually live closer to Easton. Both are great breweries!

I have to edit my post, Old Heathen is brewed by Wyerbacher, which is in Easton PA, not Hershey. Troegs is in Hershey. I like both breweries and got them mixed up in my head.

Yea, I'm near Bath and figured you may have just mixed them up but I was checking to make sure there were no secrets I wasn't aware of ! :grinning: I stop in Weyerbacher every now and again for the free samples!

Ten Fidy or Founders Imperial. I can get both on the shelf year-round and both are great.

Now that I explored stouts a bit more, I would say that if I'm looking for a sweet stout, Sam Smith's organic chocolate stout is great. If im looking for an imperial stout, I would go for Old Rasputin, Yeti or Dragon's Milk

Ipswich Oatmeal Stout and Founders Porter (I know it's not a stout, but most of the stouts I like are in the 5-7% abv, and I feel like this porter holds up to most stouts in terms of stoutiness with a similar abv). My favorite stout is FBS, but I don't consider that a go to due to the fact that it is a seasonal release. Also, pretty sure stoutiness is not a real word.

Love Ten Fidy, Brooklyn Black Chocolate & Old Rasputin. It would be hard for me to choose if I could pick only one.

Having had the opportunity to enjoy several pints in the Emerald Isle a few years ago, I can honestly say that a Guinness IN Ireland tastes much different from one that's imported.
