Other Half Brewing

Thanks man, still trying to work out a way to come down with @Oldladyfingers , really don't want to miss being there for this one, although if we can't make it your kindness to get me a bottle will be greatly appreciated!

Looking forward to coming though, trying to stay positive, will for sure bring some Mid Hud Valley treats if we do.

@cavedave - Are you going to try to come down on that Thursday or Saturday?

 

Anyone know the bottle count on this run? My office is about and hour trip to OH so I don't want to make that trek if it's going to sell out quick even with a 2 bottle limit.

 

Probably 300 - 400 maybe?

 

Not sure if you're completely speculating or not, but if I got there at 5 when they open on Thursday, it sounds like I may be on the outside looking in if only 150 people can get bottles.

 

Not speculating - I spoke to one of the OH guys when they first opened and he told me the Ba imperial Stout batch is tiny, maybe 300 or so bottles. Not sure if he meant 750s or not back then though.

 

Is Other Half well known enough now that there is going to be a rush of people lined up to get these?

 

FWIW, the post on FB has nearly 100 likes at this point. Don't know if that means anything, just putting it out there.

 

Drinking a growler of All Green Everything now. I had it filled on August 7th, drank half of it on Monday, put cap back on and drinking other half of it now, still tastes great!

 

@jrnyc - maybe that's why they call it other half...

 

Def. Thursday if at all. @jrnyc when are you planning to be there? I am thinking of coming early and hanging with some Vermont goodies I hope to bring back from trip north this w/e.

Would be cool if they released a certain amount each day, say the first 4 days. Don't allow repeat buyers in any of the days.

 

I do think they are releasing certain amounts each day over the week-end. I would hope so.

 

I believe I might have an opportunity to get there on Thursday at the open. Will see some of you there.
