Jackie O's Bottle Release 9/19 - 9/20

Gonna try to make it to this one. Will be my first trip to Jackie O's.

 

Why bottles when they're already canning some of their beers?

 

They bottle 22oz's for releases every 3 months or so. It is a two day event, get your ticket on friday and pick up your beer saturday morning. Usually the bottle counts are around 400 or less. They always have a great tap list for the weekend.

 

Aside from this ^ I think it would be a little weird for the beers mentioned for this release (and probably all of their quarterly releases) to be canned.

 

OU Inn and Baymont are already booked?!?! Yikes. I didn't want to stay at Super 8 or Days Inn but if I have to, I guess I will.

 

I might just sleep in my car

 

Stay at Casa de Liam....its much cheaper.

 

Thank god for little brothers couches I guess.

 

That's what I'm thinking.

 

There's a home OU football game that weekend, I imagine that's why.

For the price, Super 8 is better than Baymont and OU Inn. Clean, quiet and every room has a refrigerator... I don't even look anywhere else anymore, it's the first choice.

 

I like the proximity of Baymont and OU Inn. I like to be able to walk home.

 

Even when its 105 degrees outside and you have a book bag filled with bottles and growlers???

 

What's the parking situation for these events? Never been to downtown Athens..
