Is Hopsolution a brewery-only beer? It is not listed on the Bell's BA page, thus it's never been reviewed.

Hopsoulution sometimes makes appearances outside of the Eccentric Cafe. For instance, I think it was available at the MiSBF last month. I can't recall all that well it's flavor, but I remember it tasting outstanding. Would love to be able to try all 4 of them in one sitting.

Hopsoulution was in Columbus a few weeks ago at least two different places.

I didn't think to look that far down the list. With the 'Kalamazoo' added to the name and seeing it in a bottle and noting that it was added to the BA page in 2008, I think I remember this beer now. I thing it was initially brewed exclusively for the Chicago market, and I think it was a 'replacement' beer for HopSlam because that beer wasn't being sent to Chicago? Can anyone confirm?

To the credit of Mars, my wife actually likes it, she doesn't usually like IPAs.

Thanks to the generosity of several BA's for offering tips on where to get it or offering to send me bottles-I was able to find some last night! If anyone needs some Westborn Market has a ton of both left as of a few hours ago

Landed some each. Had 'em back-to-back the other night. Both very solid, very different. 'Still The Oracle for me.

So, I am late to the game on these. Up here every week on business and just found out about these two last night. Does anyone have any current intel on any remaining stock in the Aub Hills, Pontiac, Rochester Hills, or surrounding areas? Everyone I called has chuckled that they sold out last week in ten minutes. Except the one location that said they have it but only if you're on "their list." Thanks in advance for any tips!

I was looking for both like crazy, and got tired of it. I was in Grand Haven when this released, and Meijer stores around Grand Rapids were getting cases of Mars. I checked the Meijer in Grand Haven and there was none. I got back home to the metro Detroit area and checked a number of stores and found none. I finally got to the point where I gave up. I don't know what it is, but Bell's limited releases are more difficult for me to find than anything. Any other brewery, I am good for at least a few.

I find it funny that, after I just gave up, I at least found Oracle at a location near me. I was only allowed 2 bottles, but I got them. I also found Hopsoulution on tap nearby. Still, for Mars, I have continued to check when I go into stores and I haven't found any. I am no longer actively seeking it, but if I stop in, I will at least ask. The good thing about not getting the first in the series is now I feel no obligation to seek them all out.

Just wondering if there was any way for Bell's to increase production, even just a little. I find it amazing that I live in a state where the beer is brewed and I can't find it.

Bell's is already brewin a lot of beer and sending a lot out into Michigan. I really believe that Bell's does one of the better jobs of taking care of locals. Both Oracle and Mars are limited releases, by nature they are going to be very limited and hard to find. Bell's did put out quite a bit in state, but consumers have a lot of competition and really have to act fast on releases such as this. We can always be thankful we always have Two Hearted available.
