working in downtown manhattan makes this a reasonably short trip to the brewery for me, just hope I can make it there in time on thursday

 

Would hate to miss out on this. Might have to make an early departure from work.

Is this the first bottle they've ever put out?

 

First bottle eva. How chill are they with folks bringing bottles in to share? Been there several times already but never did this.

 

I'll be there at 4:45 - have to rush back to work at 5:15 so hopefully getting there early lets me get in and out quickly.

 

You just know there's going to be that one guy filling up 3 64oz counter-pressure growlers in front of you.

On Instagram they just posted they changed the release to tomorrow at 11am. $20/bottle, 2 bottle max. Of course I'm going up to Albany at 8am tomorrow. weak. If anybody wants to part with one (or share one), I have some good stuff to share back.

 

I was planning on going tomorrow anyway, I hope the whale hunters don't block my path to the All Green Everything and Hop Diamonds !

 

Disappointing move to change the plan just days after they said it would be the 28th. Am sure someone will disagree but to me is just not good customer service.

 

Well that is a fine kettle of fish! Guess I won't be going.

It's true. From their instagram: "Last minute change. Red Wine (American Oak) Barrel Aged Imperial Stout on sale tomorrow at the brewery at 11am. $20 each/2 per person. A deliciously dry imperial stout with dark chocolate, mild roast, and subtle fruit notes. Cheers!"

 

At least post on Facebook and Twitter as well. Will chalk it up to being new owners and hope this is not sign of things to come. Would be very bummed given they are off to such a great start in all other aspects.

 

Well I live 3 blocks away so i'm happy b/c it will be easier. But doesn't seem right. Maybe they'll keep some for early people thursday.

Is this even serious? Don't they normally open at 12pm on weekends? I am also not sure I am digging that $20 pee bottle price.

 

I've been blessed to received five of their beers and thus far three of the four have been very good or better. Their IPA however is not quite on the same level as their other offerings at least IMO. It is a little too malty without enough hoppy qualities.

 

$20 per bottle for a 12 oz? Seems pretty steep.

Wow, $20 for a 12oz? I figured it to be a 22 or 750. Hopefully it is good.

 

I'm just basing it on how it looks in the picture. Does anyone know for sure
