I'm going to throw it out there. I need a brave soul trekking out tomorrow morning to try and nab me a bottle. Naturally this weekend I'm out of town in CT and won't be close to Brooklyn until Sunday when I anticipate all bottles to be gone.

PM me to work out a trade.

Kinda looks like a 375ml. Basing that off of Twitter which is probably the same post as Instagram.

$20 for a 375+ isn't bad unless the beer sucks.

Really? Well guess I'm not getting a bottle unless they hold some until next Thursday. Or guess I could go tomorrow around 3...Ug...

It's a 500 ml and it is 20, 2 per person, according to @Oldladyfingers who has a spy in the area lol, aged in Opus One barrels, and I am betting it is nectar of the gods. Hoping to be able to taste some, Good Luck to all able to make it there today!!!! Found out Lost Nation sold out of all the cans of their new IIPA so I am 0 for 2 on my hoped for beers :slight_frown:

Ugh, 20 for a 375? Man I want some but that is getting a little carried away that is even higher than HF prices.

Haha, and to correct my own post above, it is Fiddlehead not Lost Nation sold out of their cans of IIPA.

Yeah I was going to get 2 bottles, but I rather spend that other $20 on a growler.

But by luck my guitar student today canceled, so I'll be at the brewery today at 11 to grab a bottle and a growler.

Student probably canceled so they could go to bottle release. You'll see him there.

I have a great way to avoid this, release it on Thursday at 5pm. I know, it is just beer.

Got in line at 11, got two bottles and a 64 oz growler fill and was out the door at 11:30. I think that's pretty good considering it was just two guys doing everything.

Wasn't able to make it to release but really hoping that price point is not a sign of things to come for OH. Hopefully it was due to this being a small batch and them not being able to spread cost across a larger output.

Here's to hoping that price scares people away today so I can pick up bottles tomorrow morning

$20 for 375ml???? In my humble opinion, this price is just absurd. Absolutely ZERO interest for me at that price.

Got a bottle. Yeah the price is high (esp considering I also got a growler of Citra for $16), but I think it's just because of the very limited run. I do think as they get bigger, the price points on future bottle releases will come down.

I got here at 11:30, waited 10 minutes, no problem to get stout. Drinking flight of hoppy greatness now.

Thanks for the heads up. Got in line at 11 and there were about 20 people in front. The size of the line was pretty much the same on the way out at like 11:40ish.

I agree the price is high, but considering it's a limited run I don't mind. I figure since they don't have their own bottling line they had to outsource all of it, which probably added a lot to the cost. Labels are pretty snazzy as well.
