    Well, its the 2nd Sunday- and our good friend Tom's Birthday- this is gonna be awesome!!

    Bring something the bar doesn't sell (beer or a snack) and tip well.

    I hope you do. I forgot that this Sunday was the 2nd of the month, luckily I still have some sweet beers to share. I am moving at the end of the month so prepare to help me thin things out!

    I keep forgetting to post....we were the last ones out of the Hay Merchant and picked up a couple things left behind. A green and off white shopping bag, and a red bottle opener thingy....if you own these, please let me know. I would love to see them back to their owners.

    Looks like I'll be good for this one. No clue what I'll bring... But I'll scrounge up something good, for sure.

    Question for all: Would I be shunned for bringing some mead to a beer tasting?

    As long as the mead is not over carbonated it is welcome, the Houston crew is very laid back, just don't be late is my only recommendation.

    Over carbonated was a joke, black folie is one of the best libations I have ever had a mix of la folie and mead.

    I personally think mead is absolutely fine. They do carry Redstone at the Saucer....

    I've been coming to the tastings for a while now. And probably any mead I bring will be still, so that won't be an issue.

    After Beer fest yesterday we werent in good enough shape to make the tasting today so were just having a family day. hope you guys have fun, ill have to catch the next one.

    That was an awesome tasting!
    ..i'd post the list but i think i left my notebook and camera case on the table..

    did anyone happen to pick them up? there is a beer reward!
