New rule. Never, ever add half of a sliced habanero to a 12oz bottle of barrel aged stout.

Lol... next time try a sliver. I'm just guessing but I'd probably use about 2 full peppers, maybe 3, for a 5gal batch if it were homebrew.

I'm not that drunk. I'll be honest, the last few Weyerbacher stouts I've had have been... Off... Like they've been sour or infected.

A little BIF-related beer **** for the group. @PA-Michigander got in touch with me and said he was looking for some Wicked Weed stuff. A trade was quickly worked out (would have been worked out even quicker if it weren't for my stupid work schedule) and my box came today. @PA-Michigander, yours should be there on Tuesday, or Wednesday at the latest!



Westbrook Gose x2 - Love this beer, so sad that even though I live in the state next door I still can't get it!
Spring House Braaains - Not a huge fan of most pumpkin beers, but my wife absolutely loves them, so this was my way of keeping the wife happy with the beer trading
Pizza Boy HopTart - Never had any of their beer at all. Heard a lot of really nice things, so definitely looking forward to this.
Spring House Big Gruesome - Another brewery I'd never tried anything of (or actually even heard of until talking with PA-Michigander).
New Glarus Scream - Have heard awesome things, really looking forward to!
Surly Coffee Bender - Love Surly, love Bender a bit better than Coffee Bender, but definitely looking forward to giving it another go.

So the trade was actually only for HopTart, Braaains, Big Gruesome, and a 'little something extra' to make up a difference in money (I wasn't really worried about it, PA-Michigander wanted to even it out) and no extras as I really didn't have time this week to sort out extras (and made sure with PA-Michigander that he was okay with that). So I guess Westbrook x2, Scream, and Coffee Bender is 'a little something extra'. That's ridiculous man! I'll definitely hook you up the next time we put together a trade!
