If they have bottles tomorrow I may pop in. Only reason I would be okay with this price point would be that it'd be cool to hold on to a bottle of this and watch as they continue to get bigger and more popular and knowing that this was the first series of bottles. Lame? Maybe.

There seemed to be a pretty steady flow of people when I was there before. I cant imagine they have many bottles left if it was a 300+ bottle release. Was this stuff really in opus one barrels?

Yes. Maybe that's the reason for the $20 price tag. Isn't Opus One like $200/bottle or something?

I am surprised the label (which looks outstanding) doesn't say anything about being barrel aged - just "Imperial Stout". Wonder if it gets classified on here along with just the plain imperial stout they had on draft.

Beers are added by users here, so it depends if anyone adds this as new.

I dont know pricing strategy behind this, but so be it. 3 months ago if you would have told me we would have an awesome brewery like this in our backyard I never would have imagined it. Before Other Half, the only other brewery in New York I got excited about was Peekskill. Now we have this place producing world class hoppy beer. Not to mention an incredibly cool tasting room and great bartenders like Antony and awesome brewers. This place is a hop heads dream come true. If I have to pay a little more to make sure the business is healthy and continues to prosper, I am more than happy to. I consider it a small investment in future batches of All Green Everything, Hop Diamonds and every other awesome beer they make.

An investment in getting those beers canned/bottled!

Hell I'll donate my forearms for capping crowns and forcing corks into bottles.

Great release today - line moved decently despite full service at the bar (flights, pints, and growler fills). Nice seeing @BeerWorld on line. Haven't opened a bottle yet but soon. Really love what Other Half is doing, regardless of prices, which are understandable given the area they're in and the need to raise capital in their infancy.

I was the guy in line with my wife and the baby in the black wrap against my chest at 11am - I'm sure I saw a bunch of you but didn't know it.

I saw you, you were about 8 people in front of me. I was with my gf wearing a black v-neck. I wanted to hang around and have a couple beers and maybe talk to some people on here but the tasting room was pretty full so we decided to to just grab some stuff and head out.

It was a mellow release and this is what I like. It was great to see you again. Little fella behaved  Also saw a couple other familiar faces and I am sure a lot of others on here who I don't know. Just another chill hang out day at OH with a couple of bottles of wine BA RIS as an extra bonus. All good.

I was also there with a baby strapped to me.

for some reason passersby seemed to flock to me - I must have answered 4 "what's going on?" queries.
