I've been looking forward to Cranbic for a while now. Hopes are high!

You mean the small city that gets largest allotment of TG beer?

I still see cases of Oud Bruin sitting around... I don't know why people lost their shit over it initially. This is New Glarus for chrissakes.

New Glarus can do no wrong.

Glad I live on the same highway as them.

Fair enough. But I've never lost faith in New Glarus' ability to produce enough Thumbprint beers to slake our thirst AND that of our friends down south! Even with Wild Sour Ale, there was a solid 2-3 weeks where we could buy as much of it as we wanted before the Great Taste.

I managed to miss out on it had 3oz at a bottle share before Great Taste this year. Then had a pint at a restaurant in New Glarus after I got my VSB on sunday last year. Thought I had more time I guess.

That's true, it did represent a departure from the normal status quo.

My guess is that Cranbic sells out before Oud Bruin.

I agree if people (do FIB's count as people?) where willing to buy four cases of oud bruin before they even tasted it imagine what's gonna happen when cran-bic or god help us BB kriek hits.

Never thought of it that way but that is very likely TG' s thinking on it as well.

You're not looking hard enough if you think it's gone in the area.

Bring me a case of Great Lakes Oktoberfest and I'll scrunge up whatever bottles aren't devoured a day after they get dropped off. King Sue and Sosus lasted about 2 hours on Friday.

2 Hours is 2 hours more than nothing :d just saying. It's often no fun chasing beer but if people know the day, even about when stores get shipments, and had free time I'm sure they had the opportunity to try and get some

It lasted a mere 30 minutes last Friday, not even 2 hours. If you weren't already in Hudson, you wouldn't get any.

So my sister is rolling through Madison tomorrow, on her way to Michigan. What's the best place to stop for NG stuff (any of the fruits or thumbprints) that's close to the highway? Originally though one of the Woodmans, but maybe there is somewhere better?

    Thanks for any help.
