    Another beautiful day in the 808! Took a little hike yesterday, to the top of the mountain and got a nice view of the back of my neighborhood. Plan on going out there in a few minutes

    Also got see another rainbow, right as the sun set. I swear I've seen no less than 5 rainbows a day here. It's awesome.

    Had some locally caught Ahi, nicely seared, with a light crust of Hawaiian sea salt and black pepper. The wife did this one, very impressed with her skills. Funny how cheap good fish is here. I think we paid like $4 a lb for this, amazing. Went well with this IPA from Big Island Brewhaus. It's my second beer from them, and I've really liked both. Glad to see craft beer can easily be found in Hawai'i! (Yes, that's a football paper plate, plastic fork, and Chimay glass. That's how we roll)

    Well, no dating on the Sculpin at all, but the Two Hearted was bottled 7/24... The 2H was smoother and had a more well-rounded character, but I'm gonna say that, for what I was looking for, I dug the Sculpin just a little more. It was brighter, crisper - more abrasive even - but it also served to reassert why I have it ranked so highly :wink:
