Yeah unfortunately, Grand Havens a haul for me, but I really want to try their stuff. It would be cool if growlers could be shipped from breweries instate or something.

 

LOVE the Park Bar, one of my favorites downtown.

 

What are the chances of being able to get a keg of this for a home kegerator? It's on tap several places here in the Detroit area, but I'm assuming the distributor would limit it to bars since the supply is probably small...

 

I would say its probably a pretty slim chance, but you can at least call and ask them?

 

Ha ha ha! Figures that would get you going! Yeah, it's a definite plan to go at the end of this month. Even if somehow F26 was to bow out, I would still be going. So no need to worry dude man. FFF has quite a few brews that I haven't been able to try, so I gots to get some as well.

This is a great response, I love to hear about the bottle dating and the focus on QC. Please tell me the expansion won't result in any closure in July when I'll be in town!

 

Picked up my keg of Citra after work. Caveat to anyone thinking of getting one, it's in a 50L black plastic keg. The keg is about 1/2" wider than normal kegs. If you've got a big industrial kegerator, no problem. But mine's a Vissani that just holds a 1/2 barrel, so this extra 1/2" makes my door not close all the way. I tied it shut, and it's OK.

So besides that, just poured my first glass. Delicious! Needs to get a bit colder, tomorrow it'll be top notch!

The expansion is affecting the production facility only.

 

Will Odd Sides fill Growlers from other places or will they only fill their own? I am assuming they will fill any growler, but i just want to make sure, picking up a few Tomorrow.
