With this info I feel like I just had a 3-way, IN MY PANTS... I sold like 16 cans to the aunt of the owner from block 15 and she said "sticky hands is in this." Which granted I have a hunch she doesnt know a whole lot about beer/brewing but this was a comment I had to kind of think on to take seriously as she is in the family and thus her info has to hold some water....now i cant imagine that block 15's addition to this years release is as simple as "here, just put some sticky hands in the recipe, but I got to thinking that wouldnt it be kinda cool if that was his addition?! haha i've never had sticky hands before, so maybe someone can confirm in the taste if you think this is plausible or a case of "sorry lady but thats not true"

Mosaic dominates 3-Way this year, but I can see some similarities to Sticky Hands.

Is Sticky Hands some secret ingredient or process I don't know about? I can only imagine she was being literal, just that her nephew's hop experience was a part of making that beer great (and more easily obtainable than Sticky Hands).

I've noticed in a couple different places where people have tried to deconstruct each brewery's contribution on a collaboration like it's as straightforward as Boneyard having the inventory of the raw material. I don't think Boneyard's only contribution was Mosaics or Fort George's only contribution was the canning line the other two lacked. People came together and shared ideas and adapted previous experience to create something new. Unless it's Collage #1 where they literally blended existing beers, speculation about what each brewer wrote which part of the recipe seems really strange to me.

FWIW, my family took a trip to SW Washington and NE Oregon and couple of weekends ago and we stopped at Fort George for lunch. The owner/founder announced that he was starting a production tour and my 13-year-old was interested in the tour. I can tell you that Fort George is brewing the beer. I can't recall if they had the 3-Way malt bill in the mash tun at the time, but they had at least one fermenter filled with 3-Way and I think they had a conditioning tank with 3-Way.

Fort George is definitely the brewer and canner of 3-Way, I meant that their contribution was certainly more than just the machinery.

I'm looking for one more fix before this disappears; anyone know where its still hanging out in Seattle? I've checked a bunch of spots over the last few days and come up empty handed.

Only about 200 cases hit Portland, and they were spread very, very thin, so snag it while you can.

If I am to believe the beer guy at Whole Foods Tanasbourne, they have 30 of those cases in the back. I just picked up a couple 4-packs that were canned 2 whole days ago. So if you will excuse me, I am going to go drink some. Right now.

I managed to grab 1 four pack, the very last one, at Roosevelt Whole Foods today ... canned 8/12. The people in both the beer aisle and at checkout said "everyone is buying that today." So it sounds like it'll go fast. Grab it while you can (no pun intended)!

Yeah I'm way out on the east side of WA and on the ID border. I'll look, but I'm sure I've had my last. Sad panda.

Saw your post and drove by there after work today. Picked up three 4 packs. They definitely weren't lying about the 30 cases either. There was one 4 pack canned on 7/30 in the cold cooler and I while I was walking around the corner, there was this 4ft high display of 3-way (all canned 8/27). It was marvelous. Thanks Eric :grinning:

I thought I ordered a decent amount but since Friday every other transaction seems to include 3Way. :grimacing:

how is the canned on 8/27 batch?? I felt the canned on 7/30 batch was amazing and a completely different beer than when it was first released. Super cloudy and just fricken dank! Anyone have the word if Maletis is already out? I'm hoping I can get one last stab at an order for it come Tuesday.
