Tampa vs. St. Pete

Cycles only sour right now is Ecto, its really good, and they also have Crank IPA (awesome Citra bomb), Hammer IPA, Fixie Session IPA, and The House Always Wins Rye IPA on right now.

Rapp has their Gose, a good Berliner (try it w/woodruff, rasp or bacon syrup) as well as a Lichtenhainer (smoked sour) when I was there a few days ago. Also on tap right now is a double IPA, a black IPA and Choc Hazelnut Porter along with 14 other beers.

I haven't had GB's Surrealist yet, the last time I was there I was a day early, I've GOT to get over there and try it.

 

true, but the food at the brewpub is outstanding.

 

St Pete if you want something a little more laid back, but still has some good night life.
Ybor City if you are lookng for more of a party area.

All the best breweries are just south of Tampa.

 

ALSO...there is a Hilton within walking distance to Cigar City that has a Cigar City Room Rate...I've stayed there twice for Hunaphu Day, and it's a great location. If you are only visiting Tampa for the breweries, why not stay by the best one?

Also, make sure to head to Rapp and Pegs. And if you go west you can hit 7th Sun.

didn't realize the brewery and brewpub were two different things lol, thank you. The one I looked up on mapquest was on Spruce St.

 

Spruce St is the Brewery, the brewpub is farther north on Dale Mabry. If you are concerned with food as someone mentioned above, there are often food trucks scheduled at the brewery on the weekends.

 

Quality of food at CCB Brewpubis A+++. I highly recommend if you are hungry. Food will not disappoint!
