That barrel aged mayan mocha stout is one of my favorites, it's plain awesome.

I was happy to have seen so many of your wants already in my cellar, so have fun ticking!

 

So if anyone follows @HoppySeb on untappd you can see he drank almost my WHOLE BOX! Atleast judging by his scores, he is enjoying them which is what matters the most!

 

I think he is still drunk. You both really killed it.

 

@wheelzntoys, you took a chance and offered to be the target of someone requesting a late delivery. My original plan was to spread out shopping over an extra month or so but I didn't need to as much time as I expected. Nevertheless, I am shipping after the window has closed, and as a thank you for being accommodating, I'm including a little 2-part thank you anyway, from one of my favorite locals. I won't ruin the surprise, but you'll probably know it when you see it.

So, the box is going to be split into two parts to ensure speedy delivery of part one of the 'thank you' (the rest of that box is mostly the 'extras'). Part two is in the second box, along with most of the 'goodies', but they're going out within a day or two of each other anyway so you'll have the full haul before long.

I put together some stats on the box (most important are bolded):

Count: 26 containers of various size/type
Volume: 389.6oz, 343.8oz of which are stouts between the two boxes (the rest is porter/imperial porter).

rAvg: 4.11, the first 144 oz is 4.32
Weighted rAvg: 4.11, the first 144 oz is 4.31

BA Score: 92.1, the first 144 oz is 96.8
Weighted BA Score: 91.9, the first 144 oz is 96.4

When I say "the first 144 oz" what I mean is that if I sent only the minimum volume of the best rated beers in the box, this is what it'd be; I feel this is relevant as some 'extras' drag down the score a bit, but I think most people would prefer more beer than a higher average score for the box.

ps - I hate to ruin any surprises, but I did notice the first box has Old Heathen but not Heresy; you'll be getting both, so if you'd like to do the base and its barrel aged version side-by-side, save the Old Heathen.

 

You're right, Mippers. This is also my 1st bif but I'm a trading **** so I'm definitely no virgin.

Exactly, I know there aren't many of us that haven't gotten a box yet so tough to put anymore hints out there. This BIF went about as far south as you can go & the other BIF I'm in I shipped as far west as you can

 

I'm glad it's coming to my office! I'll make sure the forklift has a full tank.

My box is shipping today! I wanted to make sure I was able to get a nice BA stout in there from my trip to NC. I doubt you will be disappointed!
