I realize WI is a bit undeveloped in some areas but we do have more than 1 hwy. Which one is she going to be on.

I believe you. It wasn't here for 30minutes or any amount of time if they don't distribute to your part of the state...so there's that. Is what it is...sucks, but that's it. Can't get every beer release, doesn't hurt to try though

Woodman's East (Milwaukee Street) is likely her best option, both in terms of selection and ease of travel. Make sure she knows it's cash or debit only.

Great! Hoping she can score some of that Apple Ale as I've heard it's great. Seems NG does a really good job with their distro. For as well regarded as their fruit beers are, I've rarely heard of a local just flat out not being able to find the stuff in season. Very respectable to treat the home state that way.

If she strikes out there (unlikely) and is willing, I'd suggest going to HyVee East next. Nice selection for a grocery and easier in terms of travel to get to and get back to the interstate than some of the smaller bottle shops.

TG announcing their deliveries on FB & Twitter. That's what cases the crazy chasing in the first place. This past delivery Chad had Madisonians following him as far North as Lake Delton. Liquor Central up there used to be able to keep TG on the shelves for 2-3 days w/ no limit. This last shipment they sold out instantly. We arrived by coincidence later in the morning and the shop guy said it was nuts up there.

NG's distro is generally really good, but in Milwaukee it varies wildly from shop to shop. Some smaller shops are 1-3 weeks behind when it comes to new NG beers, most likely due to shelf space limitations. New Thumbprints are a crapshoot. They'll get to all shops eventually, but when they start stacking up like they have been some shops hold them in the back or wait to order them until they go through more of what they already have.

Eventually, if demand gets high enough and supply low enough, shops will institute limits. Woodman's and big shops on the border will run out due to case purchases, but I'll bet Ray's, Discount, and the smaller shops will maintain availability for at least 2 weeks.

Even discount had to issue a one or two 4 pack limit on oud bruin when it first dropped. I still see it around though.

Hmm, no replies to this thread in almost 72 hours. This is sub-standard, we have to keep up with all the other dedicated threads! So... Cran-bic is supposed to be coming out soon, right guys?

I would expect Cran-Bic would be a October/November release. General consensus is that BB Kriek is early 2015. Assuming Scream continues through the end of the year, then Cran-bic would be the last new Thumbprint this year.

Any insights into the next round of seasonals? I know they were dialing in the Pumkin Weiss on the Friday before the GTMW. Also would be a little surprised if Black Top did not make an appearance this year.

Yeah- this means that their distributor was confident enough in the beers arrival/price that Woodman's got all of the info. Wish I knew more, but I would guess that it'd be 1-2 weeks at the most.

If Cran-bic comes out this month, I would love to understand the rationale and/or pattern that they are aiming for. It can't just be release whatever/whenever.
