    Hey everyone,

I am struggling to find Styrofoam shippers in the Boston area. I called a long list of places that all said, "No". Any suggestions? Or if anyone has some shippers, I'll buy two and open some good beer with you. I am looking for two 12 bottle Styrofoam shippers.

    Cheers,

    Rob

Try Gordon's on Main St in Waltham. I think uhaul sometimes carries them as well.

I went here asking the same question after a BA recommended it last month. I was basically told to pound sand. I wouldn't recommend it.

If you don't mind patronizing Amazon.com, recently I was able to purchase 6-bottle styrofoam champagne bottle-size shippers for ~$12 each with free shipping.

Do you need Styrofoam? I have two 12 bottles shippers I just brought back from a trip to Portland, OR. They are case-sized boxes with egg-crate style inserts that each securely hold 3 bottles. I brought back a bunch of Cascade sours and various other goodies and everything arrived intact.

Thanks everyone! The reason I needed shippers is because I am in town for a short amount of time and purchased/traded for a lot more beer than I anticipated.

@Ataraxia ,being the nice guy he is, hooked it up with three shippers. Thanks again man!

Online retailers are probably the way to go since shipping alcohol across state lines is, (for the time being) still illegal in MA.

I got mine at U-Haul, but not all U-Hauls sell them.
