Hope they bring more than a mere couple cases into SoCal this time.

Want. Is there any remote possibility it will make it to SLC since Deschutes is distributed there?

"The Dissident returns! Deschutes Brewery’s sought after Flanders Oud Bruin is back for its 4th release in 2014, beginning in September with limited distribution “in most states” within the brewery’s footprint. It takes an arduous 2 years to produce this sour brown ale with tart Oregon cherries, which rests in a variety of wine barrels for at least 18 months. The 2014 vintage will utilize the same recipe used to produce the inaugural release back in 2008.

Most Deschutes Reserve Series beers debut at their tasting room and pubs in Bend and Portland before hitting nationwide distro, so keep your eyes peeled for a possible release in the near future. The Dissident 2014 will be available in waxed 22oz bottles and limited draft."

Really looking forward to drinking Not The Stoic and Mirror Mirror. Will this be around $20-25 a bottle?

 

Probably $16 - $18, at least out west. That's what all the bottles - Not the Stoic, Mirror Mirror, Black Butte reserve, Abyss - run. Not sure if they're considerably more further afield.

It seems like they've increased production quite a bit ... or at least distribution in WA and OR since all of these bottles are readily available. Anyone that doesn't land them should have no problem trading similar quality / somewhat limited beers for them with a WA or OR trader.

I'll be happy to pick this up for you guys, still waiting for the XXVI to hit here. Still a ton of Mirror Mirror and Not the Stoic on shelves.

Glad to hear, this has been on my want list for a few years now.

 

This was such a pain to find 2 years ago and I was lucky to get a bottle. This should get way more hype than the Abyss. A great sour for people who don't like to have a bottle of tums next to them.
