I believe DeCicco's in Pelham still has Apricot, it's been 2 weeks, but it's been there for well over a year. Its in the far corner at the end of the beer aisle (take a left when you get to the end of the cooler section and walk straight), the soda aisle shelving runs into and blocks the shelf where it is located.

No more Apricot there. I know that corner of the shelves quite well.

that stinks, that's what I get for waiting, I was apprehensive with the $18 price tag. Do you think it warrants the $? I ask b/c I haven't had Cascade yet.

I'm kicking myself for the same reasons. Really took its availability for granted. I even remember tucking one away thinking "I'll be back soon, it'll be here"...because...well...it's Pelham. Things languish on the shelves there with regularity.

I've always felt that the Apricot was definitely worth the pricetag. Though, not something that I would allow myself to buy every time I was there. The kriek, on the other hand, is probably not worth the $. Which seems more and more apparent every time I notice the several shelves that are packed with the stuff....for years now.

Apricot should be coming back sooner or later - Beer Pulse mentions a late June return. Not positive that means we'll get any, but we have in the past, so why not this time.

I am pretty sure Downtown bar and grill had Apricot in BK on Court street, but you are sure I pay more than $18 at that joint.

Thanks, good to know, I know Port Chester has most of their fruit lambics in the front of the store (apricot), but it may just be the St. Louis. He has the Cascade Apricot listed on beermenus, but I think he takes some liberties with exaggurating his stock, I've learned by now that you have to actually go into the store, calling doesn't yield much better results. I don't mind spending a little more $ for a good sour, but it has to be good! Next time I won't procrastinate, even though that's what I'm best at.

I live in Seattle, so we have constant access to the Apricot for most of the year. Easily one of the best Cascade beers, IMO. It doesn't compare to beasts like Cantillon's Fou' Foune, but it's pretty damn tasty.

shipping costs will be similar if you order 12 bottles from that website, their direct shipping is a rip IMO

I lived in Seattle for 8 years (woe, how I miss it) and am now in CNY. Apricot is easily my favorite Cascade sour and well worth the price, me thinks. (Ok, my favorite Cascade sour that they bottle.

Had to click on this thread because if there was Apricot in NYC, I was sending the sister (who lives in Brooklyn) on a mission!

It is, indeed. A lot of that is probably an "handling" fee.

I know Good Beer ordered a case or two of Cascade Blueberry when it was for sale on Cascade's website and sold it. They might be planning on doing the same for Sang Noir.

i got apricot from deciccos pelham about a month ago, fairly certain they're out as I went back for more.

Downtown bar and grill will let you take the bottle home, I was there this weekend and took some bottles home, the 18$ is on par with the 15$ I paid for it at deciccos
