Going to Anaheim next week, have some time, What are the most visit breweries in the Anaheim area? Looking to bring back some 'product' to Pennsylvania.

    The Bruery and Noble.
About 15-20 minutes apart, and both amazing!

Bruery is my favorite tasting room of any brewery, specializing in BIG beers.
Noble has some awesome nitro beers (like Naughty Sauce, their Golden Coffee Stout).

Don't forget Bootlegger's in Fullerton, they make a great DIPA, Knuckle Sandwich.

Knuckle hasn't been on tap in the Bootleggers tasting room in months. Bottles do show up in local shops pretty regularly but I don't know how fresh those are (if the tasting room isn't stocking them I gotta question it). That said there are usually a dozen or so things on tap there and they will have four or five bombers for sale.

Also check out Bottle Logic, about a mile from the Bruery, and Valiant, closer to Nobles.

If you're with family, drag them to the Packing District and hit up Anaheim Brewery.

Instagram is good for all of those sites - they'll post what's on tap and if any food trucks are rolling up to serve dinner.

Yeah, KS is hit and miss. Last time I was there it was about 4-5 months ago had it on tap but no bottles.

Hit up Hollingshead on Main and Culver (city of Orange, close). Awesome family-owned deli with 20ish fantastic beers on tap and a great bottle selection

    Hi Jon,

Let me know when you'll be in town. I'd love to show you around our brewery and offer you some bottles.

    Cheers,

If you have transportation drive to Huntington Beach and check out Beach City Brewery. Derek, head brewer is from Pennsylvania and worked as brewer at Iron Hill. Stop by and say "Hi." Some good beers coming out of BCB these days. They are open 7 days a week from noon till 10pm. Otherwise check out Bottle Logic, Bruery, Noble, Valiant(closed Sundays) & Bootleggers.

Is Russian River readily available in the Anaheim area? I'll be travelling there in a few months. I was wondering if there will be bottles to take home. Specifically, Pliny

...and then expect not to find any unless you are extremely diligent about it. I still have never bought a bottle of PtE because I can't be bothered to camp out at the shop waiting for the 2-hour mid-day window between when the truck arrives and when the store sells out.

Your best bet is to bring some east coast goodies and arrange an IP trade with someone who has the local knowledge or patience.
