May have to look into that, but I have no idea where to start with Linux or how to get it.

Due to Raspberry Pints not running on a normal Windows system, I have designed a Google Sheets document that kind of looks like it, with a few tweeks, like proper glassware on the far right instead of pints to show the ABV, and also swapped out the variable hop icon for a hop cone, or barn, or lemon, or barn and lemon, or fruits, or malted barley, or yeast cells, to show what the prominent component is in the beer: hoppy, funky, sour, sour and funky, fruity, malty, yeasty (Belgians/Hefe).

I'm finally brewing after an unintended summer hiatus. I'm really low on beer so I plan to brew 11 batches in the next 7 weeks. Here's the plan..

    Festbier lager
    APA V2
    Vienna lager
    Saison 3 ways
    Dopplebock
    Belgian IPA
    AK Ale
    Tripel
    Dark Mild
    Brett Porter
    Weizenbock

This weekend I'll only be brewing up a few starters, cleaning some kegs and checking supplies. But next weekend it will be full bore brewing again. I'm dangerously low on beer and will probably run out before I have any ready to drink.

I just got done brewing a Harvest Ale (wet hopped APA). My kitchen smells glorious of hop aroma. If my beer tastes only half as good as my kitchen smells it will be the best Harvest Ale ever!

    Cheers!

Sure will after I give it some test runs. Just figured out how to really mess with the draw function in Sheets (not bad at all, way better than paint, but far from Gimp). I need to work on testing the settings to make sure that it is sized right for my TV, but if not, the way it is now could easily pop up on a tablet.

52 Total IBUs (5.1 gallon batch)...
40.4 IBUs from German Magnum @60
    .612 ounces 4.5% AA Fuggles @30 (7.8 IBUs)
    .612 ounces 4.5% AA Fuggles @10 (3.7 IBUs)
Dry Hop 2 ounces Amarillo in cold keg, 5 days

And yes, you actually can taste the fuggles.

Black IPA. The first recipe I have repeated exactly. Nothing to change after the first time!

No brewing for me. Went to my LHBS today to get ingredients for a Northern English brown ale I'll be doing next weekend. Going to try a little Victory and oats in it to try and get a more nutty, creamy flavor.

This is what I have so far. Trying to figure out how to get it to format to full screen without losing the icons or their proportions. That and the font for Sheets is weak. Oh well.

Once I get it up on the CPU and TV at home this weekend I will try to format it to that. One other cool thing I want to do with this is turn the names into hyperlinks or add comment boxes that will pull up the labels I make for some of the beers (I guess I will have to make a label for all of them if I go that route...)

Thanks for the info. Something for me to ponder until I begin the boil!

A good friend of mine is coming over on Sunday to take over the "brewery". He's going to brew up 20 gallons of his favorite from us, a La Chouffe clone. I'm going to show him how to do it.

Gonna use 5 more lbs of that ginormous extract I have and use some honey malt, with some simcoe for an x amount of times during the session. As previous "trying to get rid of extract brews", the beers will not be measured, just made just for practicality, and using simple, no starter s-05 yeasties. I went to southern brewing and got a lb of carahell, caramunich, honey malt and black malt. a lb each mind you, so in each batch I do every 2 weeks, I will use one or more of them just for fun. Its a lot of fun using all extract, or using extract with specialty grain versus all grain.

Hopefully, bottling my Biere de Noel on Sunday. If I have the time on Wednesday, I'll brew a Session English Rye IPA (extract), or however you want to arrange those words.

Nice thing about working all the time, I can afford to do extract batches.

I'm thinking of racking my tripel to a secondary this weekend, but it looks like it isn't quite at its FG. I measured 1.016 today, and the kit says 1.012-1.014 FG. I know it's important to let the fermentation finish, but I'm going to be leaving this one for about 3 months in the carboy. Will it still suffer if I rack it too soon, or can it finish the job during the secondary?

This is my final rendition. Took the screen shot on my TV after mounting it and hooking it to a CPU. Running it on Excel so I don't have to use the internet all the time. Threw the banner from my blog across the top, looks nice. Just have to keep the mouse out to scroll down to the bottle listings.

Brewed a Green Mtn Coffee Stout, hasn't started perking yet in the primary. Used my local hops, mix of Cascade and Golding.
