Favorite or Classic BA personalities

Hmmm... I pretty sure there are members here that I DON'T want to see selfies of them showering with their beer... you can't unsee things like that!

 

Don't forget about the BA who joined last week, has already made 100 posts, and has already received 800 likes.

There's also the beginning a new thread with "so" BA. For example: "So I'm headed to VT this weekend..." or "So I'm about to trade for XXXX..." and "So, I'll be in Chicago next Thurs, looking to...". Not sure why I have a problem with this. But I do. I'm a terrible, shallow, judgmental person.

Confession: I'm the guy who doesn't review beers. I don't tick either. I never knew this non-activity was a serious BA crime until reading this thread. Guilty. Oh well, too late to start now. If I started listing a lot hads all at once, I'd be guilty of that now too. I will simply have to live openly with my shame.

 

You obviously didn't read the definition very clearly, the rest of this thread, or what I said also afterwards.

 

I said this before and I'll say it again. A flavor chemist buddy of mine says that the vast majority of people cannot taste a flavor unless the are told in some way what it is. How do people detect, "mango, chocolate and banana with a hint of cinnamon" in a beer?

 

Did he also tell you that the effects of odors are powerful enough that some people report those effects being part of the flavor profile?

 

Oh, smell is a big part of the taste process. Perhaps I am jealous because I only detect a beerd quality (IMHO) and either can't or won't try to detect flavors.

 

Rogue's not hated because they're too big; it's because their beers are awful.

 

And the fact that some of their business practices are questionable.

 

While West Virginia and Arkansas may be craft beer deprived states, Montana is definitely not. They have an abundance of craft breweries and brewpubs - more than a number of states with better than ten times their population.

The "My Barrel is Overflowing Guy" who has more reviews than anyone else so they are obviously much more knowledgeable regarding beer than the rest of us
