Disagree but everyone has an opinion; I just disagree with yours but I'm sure there's plenty that I might think are great that you'd think are mediocre and/or terrible. It's just beer; drink what ya like.

Yeah, had Not the Stoic on draft and thought it was pretty damn solid. Gave it around a 90 score. Next day saw the bottle in the store for $17. It's good, but it's not that good.

I think it's top notch...I've heard it taste like bramble

I do as well, occasionally. Often different selection, too.

Deschutes XXVI, Not the Stoic, and Mirror Mirror are crowding shelves in St. Louis. I'm wondering if it will move if discounted a bit, but can't imagine store owners giving it that much real estate for so long.

I couldn't even finish XXVI. It was my first time trying one of these anniversary beers so maybe it was something I didn't expect, but it was wayyyyy too sweet/tart for me. It tasted more like a barleywine than an imperial porter.

Plenty of it at Wegman's around Philly. But at $20 per bottle? Pass...

Lucky... I paid $27 just outside of Philly. I guess that's what I get for driving in from NY.

Yeah, here as well. I've grabbed one of each. Too bad The Abyss isn't as easy to find as all the other special releases.
