Also did anyone catch the scoop on the growlers? I totally forgot he said we would be getting those. Or was I just not paying attention when they passed those out?

I didn't hear anything about them but I assumed yesterday was not the planned day to give them out. I don't know that there would have been room or man power to store and fill 100+ growlers. I'm sure we will get a heads up soon.

the reserve thing was for two events, 8 bottles, holders, shirts, glasses, growler and growler fill. Yesterday was one event with 4 bottles, I assume everything else comes at event two.

So, I'm curious: Are there bottle sales to the general public, or do only Reserve Society members get access?

I noticed one of the pictures has Heaven Hill barrels. Totally missed that at the event.

If you went to the event as a "trustee" (picking up beer for someone else) . . you could buy 1 extra. members could buy 2, but not two of the same beer. I thought it was fair enough to distribute the beer. According to Chris the Wild Turkey and Red Wine Batise beers were limited in bottles as most of Wild Turkey is going to FOBAB and Red Wine to GABF

Odd, nearer to the start of the line they let you buy any 2 bottles you wanted, even 2 of the same.

I believe if you were a +1 you were allowed to buy some beer as well, either way Chris is doing some great things there

There were plenty of the bottles for sale yesterday. Picked up my allotment. Snagged one more each of the Obelus, and a pair each of the Brett beer and Honey saison. No limits on the non-BA beers. I figured I should try them before I buy a bunch though. One to drink and one to let the Brett do its thing. Hopefully if there was still a bunch left after yesterday, Chris can store a bunch of cases for purchase down the road.

I picked up my bottles yesterday as well with ease, Chris and those group of guys are so nice to do that, especially on a brew day and took the time to make sure I had everything. If you still need to get your bottles, be sure to grab the non BA beers: honey saison and Peur. Both are great!
