'13 BA Cake was released on a Friday. '14 Cake on a Friday. Ya think?? I just wonder if the Charleston Beer Week will determine release date.

I could care less actually, sorry. I was in Myrtle last year when released , rather spend the day at the beach. Could easily drive to Charleston, but I won't , I really think it's going to be a shit show, hope I'm wrong and it's not Huna Day Part Duex.

 

Last year was crazy, this year will be way more people. They need a plan, been saying it forever. After the initial response last year and people waiting on pins and needles since July when it was said to come out this year it is going to be crazy when they finally announce it.

 

I heard that they had BA Quads that were bottled before the BA Cakes, but were waiting on labels. It could be those...

 

Lets all cross our fingers that its NOT Friday, because I couldn't make it and this release is all about accommodating me. Thanks for the support folks.

On a related note, Saturday would be a great day for the release.

Also, as has been discussed ad nauseam, the only way to avoid a complete shit show is to make the announcement the day of, just a couple hours before doors open. Debate the equality and fairness of that if you want, but its the truth.

You hit Foothills for BASC didn't you? Think I saw you post that. They did a great job of it... no issues that I saw. Did Westbrook get nuts last year for the variants?

A day at the beach trumps a beer any day. Well, as long as you've got beer... at the beach.

 

A case plus of HT and Bcbs had it covered. Foothills was nice, easy quiet, no Whalz Bros crap. Just tiring as he'll.

 

Last year's release was smooth, though a little slow in the number calling. Tickets were picked up earlier in the day at the bar and then the beer was released later in the afternoon. I had a latter number, which allowed me (and others) to enjoy the beer tent that had Mexican Coffee Cake on tap before I picked up my beers.

 

What time did tickets run out?

 

last year, the last tickets were sold just after 2 PM... I bet they don't last through the morning this year

 

I hope I get one of those tickets for the beer

 

There is a semi-plan.

 

Let's hope this plan covers someone who lives four hours away, and who may suddenly have to leave work sick...

 

Ill get there at least three days early. at least!

 

I'm already camping out. I'm posing as a homeless guy so that no one is the wiser, but this way I'll be guaranteed to get some. If you see a homeless guy posting on BA from an iPhone not far from Westbrook stop and say hey!

 

This thread is becoming epic as I'm sure the release will be. I'm at the ready to make the trek north from Hilton Head Island at a moments notice!
