I remember hearing that Crooked Stave was going to open a brewery instead of gypsy brewing. I think I remember seeing something about this in a post but couldn't remember any specifics. Is there any sort of date/location set yet? Love their beers doing some really interesting stuff with brett. Would recommend anyone interested in brett or crooked stave to check out their interview on brewingnetwork's Sunday session.
Denver is finally getting a market in the style you see in New York or San Fran. They will open in there, along with a higher end food market and restaurant. It probably won't go down until early next year. Link to story: http://blogs.westword.com/cafesociety/2012/04/the_source_denver_european_market_crooked_stave.php
i read in another source (that i can't find for some odd reason) that westword pulled the trigger too soon on that story, and that the main investor is still looking for a location as he isn't 100% satisfied with that river north building.
What I hear is Chad may open a small brewery/ tasting room there, but it is'nt big enough for his production brewery.
