The cider is fermented by one of my friend's here in Columbus.

I've had an apple/pear allergy for 15ish years or so, and decided to see if that allergy went away by trying his stuff. So far so good, had a tasting of his cider and this was the best (well...maybe he gave us a sneak peak and man there is another one coming that is completely different and could put him on the map). All of his stuff was very very good.

He's looking to get it to other parts of the country and get some honest feedback so please let me know what you think.

I love me some Creeper and was lucky enough to get two rounds of it at my local (where the guy who makes the cider works) and he held it for me both time so I wanted to pay it back by spreading some of his cider around.

The cider will be tried this weekend with a friend of mine who makes cider back in France. So, you'll get 2 opinions for one bottle! Pretty excited about it!

Whirlpool and Morph are great brews. I took both down in ~4 sips

The Sixterhood is on a FedEx truck in TX right now ...

You know what guys, we're starting to come up on mid September and I think we should get the ball rolling for the next round of this BIF! I've been saving up so many goodies over the last 8 weeks, I want to get a target and start messing with their head. If our goal was to set the shipping window for the last 2 weeks of October, I think we're close enough to get things underway.

Who else is excited for another full-blown round of beer trading???

I don't know what we came up with but I thought it was to get started in October, shipping window closer to the end of the year? Maybe I'm just trying to stall as my wallet is still recovering from the Stouts BIF... I know I'll regret it if I pass but I think I'd get murdered if I tried to send out another big box like that one next month.

I'm down for whatever people want to do BIF wise... if people don't wanna go all out.. we could do another round of sixers (like the summer sixer) .. say the Fall Sixer, six beers you'd like to drink in October/November, maybe 1 or 2 have to be pumpkin ales or marzens? just a thought...

I wouldn't be opposed to getting something going with an October ship window, whether it be a large or small box. I've been on a bit of a tear sending out boxes lately so I plan to take it easy for September and get back into it more heavily in October.

Where has our 'biker' leader gone? @Mikexw

I know he we was hell bent on running the next full round. I have also started saving some beers (some local) for this bad boy.

Also obligatory mention of merging this group with the Hatsur's BIF group, @edhizdeid - I know that group is licking the proverbial chops over another round.

Maybe a early November shipping window for Thanksgiving family shares??

I thought the plan was sending targets soon and having a shipping window from the middle of October to Haloween?

I guess this is one of the very few advantages of not being married, I don't get nagged nearly as often about spending too much money on beer. I too was under the impression that we were going to try and get the next round in for a Halloween end date and have some nice treats to enjoy for the holiday.

I am down for whatever we have in mind: full BIF, fall sixer.

A later window would be better for a full on BIF but a Haloween deadline should be fine.

After passing on the summer sixer and regretting it, I could get down with this. Unless the group wants to just get on to "the main event" sooner.

Appetizers are great, but I'm ready for another entree  It sounds like we've got a of hungry people out there.
