Where to get Alpine Nelson in Nor Cal?

It's pretty difficult to find their bottles in San Diego, much less northern California. The only reliable place to find the bottles is at the brewery.

 

We just get Alpine on draft in the Sacramento area, no bottles.

 

Finding Alpine bottles in San Diego outside of the brewery is about as likely as finding 3F bottles.

 

Bottles? Nowhere. Draft? Rarely seen.

We can hardly find Alpine down in Southern California as is.

 

On draft in NorCal is becoming less rare, especially in the Bay Area. Not so sure about Sac, but check the taps at Two Brews Pangaea.

 

You can always find it on Draft in sac. I think low brau has a rotating Alpine handle and you can usually find it at ten22, pangaea, university of beers, burgers and brew. But never in a bottle

 

I've been seeing draft Nelson all over the place lately in SJ and in the peninsula.

 

Speaking of Nelson, Duet and Hoppy Birthday on draft.....it's been kinda quite lately on the Alpine/Green Flash kegs.

 

I agree. Based on the Untappd check ins, if it's not at the brewery, or at someones house. It's in the SJ/SF area. Almost nothing in the LA/OC area. That goes for all 3 that Green Flash brew.

 

Alpine beers are becoming very common to find in SF. Just in the last week I saw Nelson at City Beer, Blueprint, Rosamunde, Place Pigalle and Brass Tacks to name a few. And just noticed it's posted as on-tap at the Whole Foods SoMa tap room that just opened this week. So stoked that I don't need to make an SD run just to get my Alpine fix these days!

 

Sounding more and more like I would need to make an SF run to get Alpine, otherwise suffer the heat of being in alpine. Decisions decisions....guess I could always to go rare barrel while I am in SF though.

You know, like temperature..I am spoiled and sit in an AC'd office all day long. My frail, disturbingly white body cannot handle the daystar for too long.

 

It's not that hot up there. Might be this weekend, but it will be hot everywhere.
