Founders Limited releases are always difficult to find in W-B/Scranton. I've been able to snatch Harvest and DD, but never KBS. Hoping to grab up some Backwoods Bastard. Anyone have a line on this?
I'm not in NEPA, but I think you may be a bit early on this one. According to the Founder's release schedule it wont be hitting distro until November.
According to the 2014 release calendar Breakfast Stout is being released in September, anyone seen 2014 cases yet? Backwoods Bastard is usually mid November.
Well not far off, I just checked a bottle and it was bottled on 9/27/13. Which was from the first batch bottled last year. Founders did bottle a second batch but I don't think it ever made it out to pa.
If you were able to get Harvest and DD, those same spots would probably your best bet in your area for Backwoods.
Backwoods Bastard typically releases November 1. It's a hell of a lot easier to get than KBS. I can't get you a bead on a full case in NEPA, but I think if you contract distributors that carry a lot of craft, you might locate one that will sell you a case.
