    I voted "like it" because I certainly don't hate it. We see a lot of it on shelves in the NYC area, and it's usually only something I pick up if the rest of the selection is poor. Wouldn't turn it down at a gathering. My personal take is that it's rather uninspired. The artwork makes you think even the most mellow of the bunch is going to be some sort of eye popping, throat burning imperial on steroids, so maybe that adds to the letdown.

    Why does EVERYONE hate K-9? I love it. It is not a winter ale by any means, no matter how they package it but its simply a tasty beer.

    I said "like". They're certainly not my favorite local brewery (that would be Port City) but they have a number of solid offerings, and a few excellent beers (BA Gonzo is fantastic!)

    ps- I also really enjoy K-9

    To me, it's not the fact it's not really a winter ale, it's that it tastes really medicinal.

    Different strokes and all that nonsense... :confused:

    Haven't had one in 10 years at least. Too many "meh" beers. No drain pours, but never anything great, either.
